甲状腺機能低下症（橋本病） Hypothyroidism (Hashimoto’s disease)
甲状腺は喉仏のすぐ下にあって蝶々の様な形をしています。
ここから分泌される甲状腺ホルモンは代謝に関与しているので、体のだるさ・やる気が出ない等の症状の場合には甲状腺機能低下症を選択肢に入れて治療します。
この病は自己免疫異常が原因となり慢性の炎症が起き、圧倒的に女性に多く特に20～40歳代に多く発症します。
代謝が落ちる事から体温の低下、脈拍の減少、肌がカサカサしているといった症状も現れます。
甲状腺ホルモンは次の経路で生成されます。
1．脳の視床下部というところで甲状腺刺激ホルモン放出ホルモン（TRH）が分泌される。
2．下垂体前葉から甲状腺刺激ホルモン（TSH)が分泌
3．甲状腺からT3（トリヨードサイロニン）とT4（サイロキシン）が分泌
4．血中に入り全身へ運ばれる。
甲状腺機能低下症が疑われた時は病院でホルモン量を測ります。
T3・・・76-177ng/dl
T4・・・4.8-11.2ng/dl
上記の値が基準値で、これよりも少なければ甲状腺機能低下症です。
治療は薬物治療が第一選択となり、チラーヂン（一般名 レボチロキシン）という薬を服用します。

If the above value is the reference value and less than this, it is hypothyroidism.
For the treatment, drug treatment is the first choice, and a drug called levothyroxine(generic name) is taken.
